Sexes

Looks like mostly guys are going for the HHR at the present.

I've talked to some real young kids and they hate the shape,

guess they like the Sion look. I be 58 so I like the fender looks.

My first car was a 55 Buick and it sort of had fenders and big bullet bumpers.

Had a 01 PT also, but liking my HHR a lot, the 26 mpg in town is great!

Sold my 10-12 mpg Dodge Rumble Bee, hemi's are nice, but you don't

need a hemi for doing most intown driving....

That's the first time in my life I have ever seen a car described as funky.

What number was your Rumble Bee? Hopefully it wasn't real low.

Rumble Bee

My Rumble Bee was 4271, they made 5,000 of them in 04,which mine was, an another 5,000 at least in 05 which were called the Second Swarm. Each Rumble Bee had its number on the dash below the radio. Its not being made anymore, they have switched to the Daytona, which I believe has some higher numbers, but it is available in a four door PU, which the RB was not.
I just had the RB for a year, sort of got it on inpulse. The Hemi was cool, Nice riding, the inside cab wasn't as nice as the HHR, more room of course in the RB, but 90% of my driving is daily driving to work, from 25 - 35 mph, most times. I was getting about 10-12 mpg with the RB, it was sweet ride. But I only used the back pickup bed about twice, so like did I really need the PU? It was a 4x4 so it did very well in the snow and ice, and the 20" tires were pretty cool. But I don't have any buyers remorse on buying my Black HHR LT2. It made 26 mpg on its last tank, that was all in town. Cost about $30 some to fill up as compared to almost $70 for the RB. Big difference. I got that 3% deal, so I actually have the same payments that I had before, 5 years to go. I hope I can keep a car 5 years is my plan. I've never gotten a car payed off, it must be nice for some. I'm thinking of doing that. This is my forth black vehicle, and they sure look nice clean, but dirty, they are not that cool. Enough....

Talking

I'm 32 male, I got the car cause even though I'm 2 miles from my job, I go out on the weekends alot. Drive all over the place. Well my 4X4 Avalanche gas bill was cutting into my play money so the wife and I decided on this car cause it gets great gas milage and everytime we see the car we always say "Damn, that's a good lookin car". Looking into getting rid of our 2001 Suburban and possibly getting a 4X4 Colorado for those days when we go play in the snow.

36 Male, grew up with a dad that customized and built Street Rods. We bulit up a 48 Chevy as a street rod, HHR reminds of that fun car. My HHR is 2LT Loaded, with most of the options. Traded in a 98 S-10. Love the old car look, also I do a lot of cycling, the vehicle should be a good substitute for gas guzzling SUV. I have been getting 29 miles per gallon, great!!!!
