I think we all get that dumb, ignorant annoying "Is that a PT Cruiser?" question. I get it so often that I now stop them in their tracks before they even ask. "It's a Chevy HHR, and NO it's not A or anything SIMILAR to a PT Loser!" I think I come across defensive, but oh well. They shouldn't be asking me such DUMB ASS questions in the first place.

OK! I'm voting for TXSMAN for the new Mod position!

Thank you Thank you. I'll run on the Independent Ticket. We, HHR owners DO give a damn, and WE'RE NOT GONNA' TAKE IT ANYMORE!

I just drove back from Chicago to Ohio on the turnpike. To kill time, my wife started looking for PT Cruisers and HHRs coming the opposite way over a stretch of about 200 miles. She noticed 14 PT Cruisers and only 4 HHRs. But then came a full truckload of HHRs (8), so the total was 14 PT to 12 HHR. My wife said this "didn't count". I told her that wasn't in our rules, so it did count. In all fairness, the PT has been around for many years, so the totals weren't bad. In addition, we saw another sharp HHR in front of our hotel in St. Charles, IL and 2 more parked at hotels on the way back.

I lent my HHR to my son while we were out of town and he was very impressed with the car. His wife drove it and she also liked it a lot (she is a soccer mom with a Lexus 330). Neither my son or his wife were impressed with my previous PT, except for the power of the GT (turbo). Wait until Chevy comes out with a turbo (next year ??). Things will really start to pick up then.

I have talked many people about my car and none of them have referred to it as the PT. Usually, if the PT gets brought up, I'm the one doing it.
