I thought the 5 Star Crash test was only for the front end crash. Have they done a side crash test now also??

Side Air bags are a good option!!!

Several years ago I was hit broad side drivers side, by someone who ran a red light (I was actually the second car to go at the light not the first). Anyway, I was sealed in my car, and the only big injury I suffered was from planting the side of my head into a metal support between the front and back seat. Wearing a seat belt and front air bags do not prevent this. After this, I have always ordered vehicles with side air bags, and that is how I ordered my HHR.

And Yes, the side air bags do lower your insurance. I figure the cost I paid is made up for overtime with the lower insurance payments. Plus the thought that I won't be have another head injury and months of problems, if some nut hits me again.
