Sleeping in an HHR.
sometimes it happens.
Here are a few reasons: picnicking, fishing, long trips between cities (as an emergency measure), an unexpected quarrel with his wife (Sometimes nice to slam the door and proudly go into the darkness
). But who knows what else!
Do not forget about some of the intimate moments of human relationships. I was told that 50% of U.S. citizens are conceived on the back seats of cars belonging to their fathers

I have slept in my HHR, prior to building my teardrop. I realize this is an old thread, but just wanted to put my two cents in here.
You could buy the memory foam mattresses from Wal-Mart, and cut down to size. That would work great. Also, if you have an old tent laying around, cut out the window mesh from it and use Velcro to attach to the windows of the HHR.

Im sure this has been done many times before, like a van in the good old days..does anyone make a mattress or bed mat to fit the rear section of the HHR? I dont want to call an HHR a mini van...its way to cool for that but it seems ideal for weekend camping trips a nice warm/cool dry place to sleep.
