i hate my stock HHR tires and cant wait til they wear out more to get rid of them

bad in snow, bad in rain, and mediocre at best in perfect conditions

not sure what ill be getting, but it seems anything would be better then the rubber on it currently

I drive my 08 SS on the snow with no problems. And still has the stock tires on it with 55,000 miles on them.

I am sure there are better tires but the Pilots work just fine.

I understand that the OE tires are crap, but are they a high mileage tire?

Agree that the stockers suck in snow. 3-4 additional inches here this morning and they just spin with ANY throttle...yuck.

Yes, the stock tires are not the best, but if you learn how to drive with them in the snow, they work fine. This will be my 4th winter driving with them and I have only had one incident with them. I really blame myself for the incident because I forgot how fast I was going and took a turn way too fast. That being said, when it is time for me to replace my tires I will be getting a better rated tire.

In snow... my HHR stays in the driveway, we take the GTO instead.

No seriously, I hate driving in the snow and I suck at it. I know I have no control with easing into the throttle so I do the smart thing and just stay off the roads.

I know no help here, but I havn't driven it in the snow.

It's actually good that you know this and stay off the roads.... wish others would do the same.
