Hey everyone, i was browsing through some files on my computer and ran across some pictures of my HHR shortly after i had bought it.
Giv me some opinions on things that look like it still needs or whatever you think good or bad!

 

The good:

Dig the grill....a nice alternative to the 3-bar mod. Also like the flaming bowtie.
Likin' the interior paint accents and the white decal work on the exterior. The exterior work makes for a very unique look, and one I like very much.
Rims look nice too, though I like my rims a little bigger.

The bad:

Not a huge fan of either visor decals or cloth dash protectors. Your protector doesn't really match your interior paint either. Just looks off.


Of course, what it most important is that YOU like what you've done. I'm guessing you do

 

Its like going from Plain M&M's to Peanut M&M's, quite a change.

 

Mike. That's not quite different enough.. Plain M&M to Pretzel M&M.

I do like the grille, and kind of like the decal the full length of your ride.. I don't care much for the decal in the sun strip on the windshield or the dash protector inside.

Next suggestion. IPCW LED Tail lights and some fog lights..

 

Man what a difference those rear cobalt springs make! Overall you have a nice looking ride and honestly if you add anymore it may be overbearing. This is just my opinion...take it with a grain of salt.

My taste in modding is much different, but if I were to buy this ride, the two first changes I'd make would be to remove the pinstripping (just not my thing) and I'd remove the dash pad. Honestly the only mod I'd make would be to pick up some lowering springs and drop it a couple inches. What we think shouldn't matter in the long run as long as you like it.

 

Oh yeah, one suggestion...OEM running boards. Your HHR would look awesome with those added. HHRs that don't have them look like they're missing something to me.

 

The front visor decal would also have to go...lol. I missed that my first glance.

 

Thanks everyone. As for the suggestions, led tail lights are next on my list and fog lights are on it too. Thats what I love about making a car your own. Everyone has there own opinions. I personally love pinstriping, and I like the look without running boards. To each there own. And I would like 17 or 18 inch rims but as I drive this daily and do around 20k miles a year 16 tires are more in my price range. Lol.
Nevertheless thanks for the suggestions good and bad. Love it. Keep em coming.

Here's a thread link with some IPCW pics...I think the clear ones would tie into your decals wonderfully.

 

That's cool that you're receptive to ideas. Yeah, we all start with similar canvasses with our HHRs, but we all have different ideas on how to paint. That's what makes all of this fun...seeing everyone's creativity expressed in so many different ways.
