I noticed something as I was flipping through the 2008 HHR brochure.....There is No more Satin Chrome pkg on HHR!! ..Its Gone!!, Now for the 1LT package, you get colored keyed mirrrors and handles, I guess that will make Wheelie a COLLECTIBLE?? But I will NEVER give Wheelie up!, No Way! Wheelie is mine...

Does anyone know if the 2008 LS's will have black door handles?, It doesn't say on the brochure, I am guessing the grill will be black as well on the LS, That would look neat

 

If I understand correctly, the LS will have body colored handles and rear beauty bar, black mirrors and a satin chrome grille.

Can anyone confirm?

 

I saw one the same sandstone color as my '06 with color-matched door handles. It was an LT. I didn't walk around to see what kind of grill it had. I did notice that my color looked darker. I don't know why as it was very clean at that time.

 

I am currently renting a brand new 2008 LS and the door handles match the body color, outside mirrors are black plastic, the grill is satin and the rear beauty bar (I think that is the bar with the Chevy bow tie emblem) is the same color as the car.

 

Our Sandstone 2008 1LT came with Sandstone mirrors and handles, the Grill is the Satin Chrome.

 

you're absolutly right and as an option you can have bright chrome package.

I have an LS 2008 and the door handles are the same color as the car. Also have the black side mirrors, satin finish front grill, and same color rear bar.
I love it ;-))

 

Gm should just let you have a choice.
