SS In Snow Country

This is Mrs. Grouch. Have concerns if we purchase the SS regarding the possible snow plowing with the lower front spoiler and also how the car would handle on snow and ice overall as the SS would be "MY" year round driver. Also what kind of gas mileage does the SS truly get? Thank you!

There have been many previous posts about HHR’s in snow (not SS), as it is a performance car and not a four by four, you will have to decide what your priorities / requirements are. I live in B.C.’s Snow Belt and get around OK in my LS, I think that actually the SS tires might be better for winter, the regular Firestones are not great, a lot of people have very good luck with winter tires. You might expect to get 30 mpg?

Thank you Old Ray for sharing your knowledge. I will also try to find previous posts Re HHR's in the snow that you mentioned.

Mrs. Grouch.
