thank you for explaining what LNF is. yea. i want it to be original, i found an SS that was rear-ended and sitting in a junkyard in georgia if i remember correctly. i don't want to just "buy" it. i mean yes it will take more money to do a swap but i want to be able to say that "I" did it, instead of i bought it and tuned it.

Do whatever makes you happy. But remember lots and lots of money to be a little quicker. It's outrageous to me. Id be happier with a quick ss. Even like some have done, mid 12 second hhr will be impressive at the track.
There's a monster energy themed hhr in Sarasota.

He's thinking of the lsj they add a turbo to there supercharger set up. They make good horsepower.

Ok If your going to do this you need:
Engine
Transmission
Mounts
PCM
Harness
SS fuel pump
Axels (SS is bigger axle then ls/lt)
SS radiator
Intercooler
Piping hot/cold
SS coolant hoses

You will have to cut your bumper to make intercooler fit.
If I miss anything add it to the list.

I would buy that wreak SS and take every little part of it. Also does it have rear seats?

SS FE5 suspension
4 wheel disc brakes, get it going, nice to stop also..
All related computer stuff & sensors etc.

Cheaper to buy an SS & swap bumper covers & grille to LS/LT..

Probably a wise option to do. Look around and you can find a good deal on a used SS.

Well this isn't going to Be for a while. By the time I wanna do this they should be a. Lot cheaper. But the the one I found they want 14,900 for. Don't remember how many miles on it. I thought it was kinda too pricey for now
