Need a pic of the starter installed on the car of 2007 hhr. Replaced the trans but forgot how the wiring was. I know it sounds absent minded but I didn't really pay attention when I was removing the wires from the starter.

 

We've all had a "now where does that go" or "why do I have parts left over" moments, absent mindedness or situational senility can strike anyone.

I looked for a good photo of a starter in situ, and you might have already guessed that they aren't popular photo subjects.

Going from memory, you'll find that the two terminals are different sizes(larger diameter, smaller diameter). The thicker cable goes on the larger terminal, while there should be a purple(?)wire that goes back on the smaller terminal.
