I am. I started in Mayport, Florida, then to Rota, Spain, off to guam, and now in san diego.

 

Did you take the car to Guam then SD?

 

I am a "toasted coastie" myself. Spent most of my enlistment (late 70s early 80s) on a Great White (WHEC-723) and in and amongst the Aleutian Islands and in the Bering.

 

67 thru 71 active. USCG Conifer bouy tender, out of EM school USCG Cherokee SAR out of Little Creek Amphib, and last 11 months at COTO South Norfolk. Then went back in the reserves for a couple of years working as a boarding officer.
