Ok at lunch I went out to put the new antenna on the HHR. I found the correct adapter and put a little bit of the blue loctite on the threads that screw into the base of the antenna. I kept turning and turning and turning and that adapter does not appear to be getting tight...just sort of spins around once it gets to a certain point...I screwed it into the roof maybe 2 turns and it is tight (or so it seems)

Is this what you guys have found? Is my 8 dollar investment gonna go flying off cruising down the road? I'm wondering if I screwed it too deep into the antenna....the base between the antenna and bezel is totally flush..

GZDHHR..did you have this issue? Chief?
