Supercharged HHR?

I saw this on ebay(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVR...28506881QQrdZ1)

Why are you selling these rims also. Do they ride good? Do they affect gas mpg?
Jan-08-06A:THEY DO NOT EFFECT THE RIDE QUALITY. I HAVE NOT SEEN A DIFFERENCE IN GAS MILEAGE FROM THE WHEELS, THEN AGAIN, MY HHR IS SUPERCHARGED AND DIFFERENT THAN THE STOCK MODELS

I wonder if the guy actually has a supercharged hhr?

I would believe him to be lying. I have yet to see a supercharger for our HHR. Even the Supercharged Cobalt uses a different engine (a 2.0) so he couldn't just slap on a Cobalt blower. He might have a custom turbo kit if anything but I doubt it. He doesn't even know the correct bolt pattern:

Q: do you know if tires will fit 2001 malibu ?
Jan-08-06
A: NOT SURE. I KNOW THE BOLT PATTERN IS A 5 ON 112. . A VERY WIERD SIZE THAT IS ALSO A VERY NEW SIZE. AS FAR AS I KNOW, THESE ONLY FIT COBALTS, HHRS, AND SAABS. YOU CAN FIND THE LUG PATTERN TO YOUR CAR BY GOING TO EITHER www.goodroads.net or www.thetirerack.com

5-112? The rims look like s**t anyways.

I emailed him and said I liked his wheels (not really) and then asked him how he got a supercharger and all he said about it was "and we're almost finished with a turbo model"

He is probably one of those people who lie about things that they don't have to just to make themselves feel cooler or something.

Noticed that character also. That same person had a set of the 17" Polish Chevy Wheel with tires, again with less than 500 miles, that sold last week, sold for $635 plus $139 Shipping. Kind of suspect what & where he gets all these sets of wheels & tires. I wondered about the supercharger, also??!!!

oo. If chevy comes out with it I can have my dealer put it in and not void my warranty. That'd be awesome.

I bet the kit alone would cost like $5000 - $6000 coming through Chevy.

Nah, It'll only be 3-4,000. Not 5-6,000, as CH said. But if it were, they could Eat me as well.
