Is there any "face" protection for the HHR other than a bra?

Is there any "face" protection for the HHR other than a bra?

Teetering on whether to trade my Matrix in on an HHR this weekend...with almost 2500 dollars in rebates and GM card $$ it is tempting......

Anyways...is there some sort of hood protection for the HHR other than a bra? I reallly dislike the bra but have not seen a hood deflector made for the HHR..

Looks like with such a large front profile that it must pick up a lot of chips, dings etc...especially if you do almost all highway miles like myself....

Oh one one other note....do mudguards help cut down on the marks on the rear 1/4 panels? I thought I read here that it is a problem for a lot of people

Thanks

Check this thread for hood deflector:https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...hood+deflector
The mudguards do help but don't necessarily eliminate the problem.

There is always 3M invisible paint protection.

There is also a "sport bra" for just the hood (does not cover bumper at all), which is very easy to remove any time you don't want it on.
Ours (shown), is higher in quality and lower in price than the OEM GM accessory part.

Pics and info here:

exactly what I was thinking of, if you don't like the look of the bra. personally, I do like the way the bra looks on my ride, but we all have our own tastes...

you can check out the 3M product here: http://www.invisiblemask.com/site.html

and good luck in your decision, if you decide on an HHR I think you will not be disappointed!!!

Wow! Only a few minutes and 4 replys already!! This is a great forum!!

You know....I was thinking of the 3M.....how do you think that would work on the rear 1/4's that are exposed to the "sandblasting"?

I have had some bad luck with domestic cars in the past.....most recently a 2004 Vue..the Honda engine was only thing that worked right on that vehicle.....I know the Ecotec is a great engine so that is not the issue....I put some serious miles on my car...100 miles per day r/t and am a little leery about the HHR standing up......hope I'm not offending anyone :)
