My spearkers started dropping like flys. I was watching Youtube and noticed everyone prying up little rubber liners. I'm only calling them liners because I looked on a Chevy part place and that's what they call them. Is it worth buying them. Never noticed they were gone. My guess is the car was in for service before I got it at 18K from a little old couple. I notice previous pry/chips in the bottom of the passenger side door panels. Dam dealership hacks.

Mine was missing them too...I just ordered 4 online. Came to right around $20. Looked weird seeing those screws exposed.

$20.92 shipped. Shipping was a bit steep at $7.20 for standard USPS mail but still overall cheapest I found.

Just so you know.....

I think it had been discussed on this forum before. The liners were discontinued as a factory installed item starting on a certain year. I think the reason was economics. So not really the dealers fault. More like the "damn manufacturers hacks (bean counters)". However, if your HHR had them installed and they came up missing I doubt if it was dealership hacks. They probably wouldn't forget 4 liners from 4 different doors.....and I doubt if they worked on all 4 doors. They could have been "appropriated" for another vehicle, of course.

By the way. It would help if you provided information on your vehicle, in your profile......you have ?? marks. Or at least when you ask a question related to your vehicle.

Sometimes just using the right search terms help...honestly I recall searching a bit but wasn't sure what to call that part to be honest...lol In any event, I get my part today and hope it still fits. I really thought mine was "missing" too as the door panels have clearly been removed at some point. Never would have thought Chevy might have cheapened out (insert eye roll) instead. Mine is an 09 so not sure what year they stopped but those exposed screws were driving me nuts and really looked unfinished and non-factory. After all, it's the little things right?

Gotta be care with that 20898014 part number - some places list it as the liner between the door and the inner plastic panel, and some list it as the handle liner.
