Angry They Tried... but no Sucess

Someone tried to steal my SS last night but did not succeed. They screwed up the drivers door and lock pretty good. Now it's going to cost me about $800.00 to fix.

Spending $800 is a lot better than dealin with the police only to find your car weeks later stripped down to the frame... That really sucks though. At least you still got it

Go down to the pound and adopt a Rott. Leave it in the car during the night with the windows cracked and I guarantee you'll find a puddle of brown and yellow on the ground next time.

My decductible is $500.00, so now I got to decide is it worth the claim to get $300.00 from the Ins. co. with hopes of my insurance not going up.

In California, the rates cannot go up unless the claim was over 50% your fault.

As it was explained to me......

Same here in IL, Rates will only go up on your 3rd claim of Vandalism in a 3yr Period. Basically ur allowed one a year.

Check with your agent. The deductible might not apply for that.
