Would they have been able to steal it had they got in? Or did they gain entry?

On the street because my motorcycle and its acessories are in the deattached garage, maybe that parking pad next to the garage well finally come true.

First they did not gain entry that's good. I believe if they would have stolen it. It would have not been driven far without the key. I believe there's an automatic disabler when key is not used. Thers is one in the wifes 05 Malibu.

My insurance comapny said it is not a chargeable claim on me because it is vandalizism and under a $1000.00. They also will pay 80% of rental car. Dealer has car today and hoping to get it back Thursday.

I don't have a garage. Only a carport. That's why I always leave the Astro in front of the SS at night.

Smile The SS is Home

Dealer called me today about 2:430pm and said it was ready. Picked her up and it looks great again. I guess I'll have to sleep with one eye open for awhile.

Sorry to hear about that, Tim...

Yep, a theft or attempt theft is a comprehensive claim and will not be charged against you (yet a compehensive ded may apply).

What part of St. Louis did this occur? I heard they just broke up a huge veh theft ring in Maryland Heights last night. May have been the same group of losers.

Glad to hear it's back and you're pleased with the repairs.

Maryland Heights gang is a tough bunch of thugs...

They were caught with a flock of 20 stolen pink flamingos in the trunk of one of the cars... they were all dead with a case of the bird flu...
