Things that make you go "hmmmmmmm"...

Maybe its the nature of HHR owners and our desire to be different, but have you ever noticed some modifications that make you go "hmmmmmmm". I'll give a few examples to start off with, if by chance this includes your HHR, please forgive me.

1. Chrome plated, diamond plate running boards.
2. 20 something inch wheels with spinners, gold plated.
3. Chromed naked lady mud flaps, with reflectors.
4. Bug deflector with flames.
5. Lime green paint job.
6. Those horrible pink wiper blades that I thought went away in 1989.

Just a few that I've seen in the western Carolina and central Virginia areas that I roam in. None of these top the F-150 in Hickory NC that has a two hole outhouse in place of the bed, its something when that passes you on I-77.

My calipers, brake drums, rear bowtie, bowties on my center caps, and some of my interior pieces are done up. Such as waterfall, window switch console, around shifter, steering wheel controls, and I did a stripe on all 4 door panels. Oh and my under body neons are neon green.

Bull nads hanging from the rear bumper make me think hmmmmmmm and I always wonder what the owner was thinking when he hung them.

There are allot more than those items listed that are horrible on your HHR. But my mother taught me to just keep my mouth to myself if I have nothing nice to say.

First time I saw them (& realized what they were) on the back of a dually, I laughed so hard I had to pull off the road..
