did you actually test drive one or know someone who has one? The reason they didn't sell was b/c of boring styling. I know they haul ass and I've heard the interior is top notch. but to me it looks like a co. car.
jmho. buy what makes you happy!

If I had the chance, I would get an 07 Corvette. Then, you will have both the cake and icing too....An outrageous number of horses, and at the same time, you will get the same gas mileage as the HHR, HWY that is!

GTO is the car to own. Drives incredibley, and will be one of those sleeper classics to keep.

You are Da Man, You tell us what you think, If that is for you then Go for it.
If I could I would purchase The New Camaro, But I am going to be 54 and have a family and the real reason is I drive 130 miles a day in my HHr and thats gets better mileage for this 54 year old man, BUT I am all for having FUN. Fun is my middle name. Enjoy your HHr or your GTO at least it sa GM.
Good luck in what ever you do. Drive safe but go very fast!

I may be wrong but hasn't that been available overseas for a few years? Ot at least something very close to it?

Not knocking the car, just questiong the "classic" tag.

I think GTO's will be collectible in about 20 years.
They'll be as rare as hen's teeth by then.

It's been available as a Holden, but not available here. They didn't sell many, it'll spank a Mustang or Charger, and its got sleeper stealth looks. Wish I could get one, but insurance for a 21 yr old is kinda high.

GO for it dude...sorta off topic, I don't buy that mid-life crisis crap....to believe it would mean I have figured out when I should be dead...worse, I might have already missed it ! so I follow this plan, always have fun and live like you're 17....or does this mean I'm always in crisis mode ?

Ok have to admit, I have just now looked at the 06 GTO for the first time.
All I have to say about you getting rid of your HHR for that car.

Hey if you want it can afford it go for it. That is one nice looking car
