We love our Sun Roof, No problems so far,The Sun Roof was one of the first options that we wanted when we orderd HHR from Factory.

The sunroof is great. I love it.
I had a problem with the auto-close feature which was not fixed by my old dealer but was taken care of when I went to a new dealership. The auto-close function would take the sunroof to the close position and then open it back up. They replaced the switch and things work fine now.
Two things I would like changed would be the air deflector, at times I wish it could be lowered to allow more airflow at low speeds (I sometimes have to hold it down by hand to feel the breeze) and 2 I would like it bigger. I like the new vehicles that have panoramic roofs. If it was another 6 inches longer that would be cool.

 

I have the sunroof and would highly recommend getting it. I love the fact you have 2 ways to open it.
Go for it. Besides it adds to the "great look" of the car.

 

I have the Fall Edition with the sunroof and love it, at first I didn't really care but have since changed my mind.

 

Happy to this date, no issues.

 

When I went looking for an HHR the sunroof was on the 'must have' list as I like the light and the open air aspect of it. As much as I like the sunroof, mine developed a horrible squeak that is being repaired under warranty (parts are in but have a bit of a wait for the service to be done). I still use it all the time though

 

I've had them on some cars and not on others. Occasionally it is nice to see the bright sun and feel it beam down on you but its not a neccesity for me!!

 

Love the sun roof..Great for those days and nights when it's not warm enough for the air conditioning or all the windows down. A great option!

 

I love my sunroof. The second one that is. The first one was jacked up from the factory.....

 

Love our sunroof, have only hated reglueing the headliner velcro twice.
