Thundersnow???

Well, I am at home working on club and run stuff and I see it snowing nearly white out hard with thunder and lightening...the forecast for the rest of the night, snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain...yippeeeeeeeeeeee, Illinois winter.

What the heck?! Thunder snow? Throw in the lightning and boom..... TV cuts out right at kick off Came back on about two minutes into the game.

I just wanna know where this weird weather comes from.

Yeah this weather blows.

I didn't lose any power or the game, but I was very very happy to not be outside at the time.

One thing I learned about winter lightning on a show in Discovery Channel is that it is more dangerous than regular lightning.

But yeah, it is odd to be watching the snow fall and hearing thunder.

it is rare, but have seen the lighting and heard the thunder. not only here in nebraska, but when I was stationed in maryland, and when I lived in PA.
