Tinted wishield.

Can someone tell me why our windshields dont have the tint at the top like most cars come with.

I did see one hhr with it but found out they had replaced there windshield.

When I read the title, I thought you had tinted the whole windshield

I know somebody who's actually done it to their truck. It's illegal, but I like the looks.

yep when the wife and i were at the A&W last Sat I looked at all the HHRs that were there and no one had tint. The only one that had it was the HHR with the tinted headlights. I asked the owner and they had there windshield replaced a while back.

I find the roof line is so low that it does not need any tinting.

That's how I got mine. PPG makes a tint strip replacement windshield that appears to be a higher quantity glass than the OEM.

I agree. The windshield is small enough as it is, so taking away visibilty probably isn't the best idea. I have to peek to see some traffic lights enough as it is, and I'm only 5'10".

Tint doesn't take away any visibility. Can you see through your back window? My tint strip helps my visibility by cutting down on the suns glare.
