My summer tires are 215/55 R16 (Michelin 215/55 R16 Pilot Primacy) on steel smoothie wheels.

From what I have read here, I should be using the recommended tire pressure for LS and 1LT models as they came with R16 tires, right? And the recommended pressure for LS and 1LT seems to be lower than for 2LT (R17)?
I currently have a 2011 2LT.
I sold the stock 215/50/17 tires and wheels and now run 16" Five spoke steelies with 215/60/16 Michelin tires and 5 spoke Chrome Wheel Covers.
I made that move for a more comfortable ride. I am running 32 PSI cold in them and they run and handle perfect.
I also installed The softer lowering Rear Cobalt springs with New KYB Shocks.
I added a TTR Rear Stabilizer and find that overall it this combination has no uncomfortable or unpredictable feelings.

Yes ... Run 35 PSI in your 17's

This tread is almost like hose clamps.
Heat/air pressure has to do with friction and humidity of the air in the tire.
No moisture( Nitrogen) help solve expansion or contraction during a temperature flux.
Road temperature does the same. And yes so does ambient air temperature and what side the sun is shining on a tire sidewall.
Time to move on.

It’s only fair others add they’re experiences, that is what the forums are about sharing information .

Interesting, different year, same 17" tire size. 2006-07 35 PSI, 2009-up 30 PSI.

Agree.. my 08 2LT Panel has 17's & my door card calls for 35 psi.

that site says 08 2LT wagon takes 30 psi. Doesn't make sense for same rims & tires. imo.

My current 2011 2LT shows 35lbs. PSI front and Rear. 17"

My last 2011 1LT showed 32lbs. PSI front and Rear. 16"

My last 2010 1LT showed 30 lbs. PSI. Front and Rear. 16"

Go Figure ???
