The paint job looks like it's straight off a van. I still want the C scoops on the sides!

If it can be had for 25,000 I think that is a good price. I'd spring for it at 25 bones!

The Boss already has a HHR. I was looking at the "PRE-OWNED"...
This is definitely a Southern Comfort conversion, the names above the HHR in pic. Took a pic of it but wanted to get full pics in , less work for whomever helped. (thanx Deb )
I only saw this one, maybe they`re stashed away...
I bought what I could afford, Oil/filter...

EXACTLY right. The problem is if it was tagged at $25,000, everyone would try to offer $20,000 for it. You can't really blame the car dealer for leaving in some negotiating room.

Also, by pricing this way it can help someone who is buried in their trade-in. Maybe they didn't "really" give you $20,000 for your trade, but it sure makes it easier to get the paperwork by the bank.

Bottom line is what you pay or the difference you pay. The price is a starting price. There's no need to chastise a dealer for what they tag something at. Besides, unless you're actually going to be buying it, does it really matter anyway?

Tag 'em high, I say. It will help with my resale value.

(There's my two cents plus 2.5 more for inflation...)
