Exclamation Transmission issue ?

I have a 2006 Chevrolet HHR LT and I replace motor at 170,000 and radiator. One day I was at stop sign and it just would not go. All I have is reverse.
It has sat for a few months now bc I'm frustrated putting money into it. I noticed the other day leaking fluid from the front passenger tire. I believe it's trany fluid. My question is what is wrong and how much to fix?

Welcome to the site, if it if fact is transmission fluid then it could be a leaking seal or transmission cooler line leaking. Depending on what is leaking determines how much it costs to repair!
If your mechanically inclined or not also determined what you can fix and what you have to pay someone else to fix.

Would that cause me to loose all gears but reverse?

Could be low fluid level, or a solenoid issue

I don't know what's wrong with your car, but I don't think the transmission is on the passenger side.

Fluid can leak out the passenger side output shaft seal and drip off the half shaft.
Depending on the way the car sits on in level ground

"I noticed the other day leaking fluid from the front passenger tire."

How did transmission fluid get into the tire?

It could spray out Don, but a leak that large almost guarantees a cooked 4T-45E transmission.

Get yourself to a reputable transmission shop or mechanic Sammy Jo, but to be brutally frank, you're going to probably need a reman transmission by the sounds of it.
