Great choice for the bracket, plastic won't have held up so well!

Waiting on Exhaust

It's up on the rack again, awaiting exhaust. I'm kinda hoping Santa will do it over the Christmas holiday. If not, we will get back to it next week. I'm liking how the wheels polished out.

I noticed the clothes hangers are still in the car with the roll bar pics. Will you be hanging your flame suit in the car while daily driving...just in case?

Instrument Panel Reface

I received my custom Black Cat instrument panel last week. Following the detailed instructions posted on this forum, it was an easy thanks to Gas Man's post. I went with a red/black theme, pretty generic.

I also ordered the red LED set for the guages too. Unfortunately, with my sausage-like fingers there is no way that I am going to be the guy that solders them in. I'll take the circuit board to my radio guy an have him do it........a mans' got to know his limitations.

This is also a good time to black paint over the DIC icons. With this instrument panel hooked up to a Camaro ECM/BCM you can just imagine all the pesky warning lights I'll get.

As the old saying goes the devil is in the details. You are doing an unbelievable job. It is beyond anytime I could ever do. I marvel at your attention to detail, that is where there is a lot of work.
