Victory Day.

Today is a great day. May 8, 1945 Nazi Germany signed the surrender. Ended World War II.
European peoples have paid dearly for this Victory. 20 million Soviet soldiers put lives on the altar of victory. The number of dead civilians is incalculable.
In Russia we celebrate this day. Remembering the victims. Praise survivors. Those who took Berlin. Those who carried the freedom of the peoples of Europe.
Unfortunately, every year they become less and less.
Our countries were allies in this war. Our grandfathers fought elbow to elbow, tearing the throat to the enemy.

I congratulate you guys. I wish you peaceful skies. I wish you never know what the war on the streets of American cities.
Congratulate US veterans. Those who saw the Iron Cross is not a movie, but in breech-sight. And drink a good glass of vodka for our common Victory.
