Voltage to switch backlight

Voltage to switch backlight
Has anyone checked the actual voltage being supplied to the led back lighting?
I want to add some LED lighting to the window switches on my 2007 HHR.
Playing around with it, I think there is enough space around the switches to make an outline type of lighting. I would like to tap into the existing lighting control circuit so they only come on when the others do.
Also, I noticed that my switches for the mirrors and drivers door lock are not lighting up. Are they suppose to? I am looking at the wiring diagram and can only see one common point (S311) in center console?
Any help would be appreciated.

look at this thread (from back in 2006) for an idea https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/backlit-window-buttons-1878/
Yes, your door lock and mirror buttons should light up.
