weird observation

I own 2 HHR 2.4's. A road I travel on a lot has a sweeping right hand curve. I usually drive with the engine temperature display on. On both of my HHR's if I take that curve fairly fast the temperature display drops by 2 degrees after I go thru the curve. ??????

In both directions? A wind shift thru the grille? I’d just hang on and enjoy the ride a fluctuation of a few degrees won’t hurt.

I had a 72 Dodge Dart, it would pop the windshield out if it got grip shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Now that I worried about. But the temp shift , in the HHR it could be a number of things.

2 degrees is nothing - ya gotta stop overthinking things Cliff. And stop staring at that temperature digital readout.

Plus. The temp readings go in 2 degree increments(ex.185, 187 189) so not that big of a deal.

Only odd thing about those 2 degree changes is it will do a 1 degree change from 189-190. Then go 192,194 etc.

You are not taking that turn anywhere near fast enough if you have time to look at the temp gauge...

Right on.

Ok, how about on the return trip, which makes a left turn out of that sweeper?
