Hmmmm ijust read that the HHR is like 1 of 7 or 8 vehicles excluded from the military rebate program

Well this could put a crimp in things...I was counting on that extra 500 bucks

I haven't seen anything on the Conquest program...is that still active?

Anyways they are really gonna have to sweeten the pot now or see if they can make a waiver on the military thing...actually I guess they don't have to do anything when I think about it.

Bummer

GM In The Driveway is alive and well. Every dealership knows about it and they'll probably require that you trade the Toyota for it. Seriously, though, they CAN knock off another $500. Especially if you ask for $1000!

I found the site where you can price GM cars with the GMID discount(Supplier Price) I configured the HHR that I first posted here and the price came within 5-10 dollars of the price that was quoted to me...is it possible that they have already factored in any GMID into their quote?(This is after all rebates) I think the Suppliers quote came out to 17044 vs 17057. My gut feeling is there isn't any additional discount.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Goose,
I am also elgible for the GM supplier discount. When I went to the site and built an HHR, the MSRP was $23,729.00. The supplier price was $22,471.77 That equates to approximately a 5.3% discount, without any rebates. Rebates should be an additional deduction from the discount price.
I had one salesman tell me that the GM supplier price is around the same as invoice on the vehicle.
Hope this helps you.

So what are you waiting for? Get it now so you can mod it, then drive the Main in Hampton. Or maybe show it off in the lot at Louden.

Well, see if you can push 'em a bit since the end of the month is here, but if you can't, hey, it's still a good deal.

Too bad it doesn't have the 2.4. I'd give up anything else on my car 'cept that engine. Since you seem to have some concerns about the quality of the car, I'd also see about the possibility of taking the car home overnight before you sign the final paperwork. A lot of dealers are doing that now and it'll give you a chance to look it over a bit more thoroughly at home.

It would be perfect with black interior instead of grey, but that's just my opinion.....
