Thumbs up Went 16 days between fill-ups, woo hoo!

Last fill-up was on the 8th. Got gas today and 11.266 gallons (US) filled 'er up w/ 284.1 on the trip odo... for 25mpg computed avg on mostly stop and go city motoring (work commute). Mind you this is cold weather the past couple weeks as well, which traditionally cuts into gas mileage. Morning is a "warm" start-- its usually around 55 degrees (F) in our garage. But evening start-up for trip home from work, well he's been in the parking garage all day at outside temperature, so that's a rich mixture cold start (avg temp in low 40's past two weeks)

Not bad at all. You gotta love the efficiency of these HHR's, given their weight.

I was watching a local Suzuki dealer ad on TV lastnight and they were bragging on this sub-compact model (SX4?...) @ 28mpg HIGHWAY rating. ROFLMAO! My HHR almost gets that CITY driving, looks cooler, and can carry more stuff. Last summer's vacation, for highway mpg, we got 33 and that was loaded for the trip w/ three people.

I can usually go a month but I've been filling up whenever gas prices fall just to save some money. Never know what the price will be when I need gas!
