What is this?
I just bought an '07 2LT and noticed this. Can anyone tell me what it's for and if it's supposed to have a hose connected to it. If it needs a hose where does the other end go?
Car runs fine and no CEL or codes.

It is an unused part. Mine has it too.
In other cars that has been a tranny vent tube for auto's but would still be there in manuals but not connected on the other side. Not sure what it is on our cars since they use sealed trannies.
But if you do a search this has been asked before. Perhaps someone gave a definitive answer in one of those threads.
