Replaced headlight bulbs in Sept. ‘17 and again in April ‘18. Another one went out last night. Parts store suggested that this time I should try some bulb grease. I have only ever used bulb grease on the old threaded bulbs. Applied the grease to the top of the grey rubber gasket and just on the inside of the connector being careful not getting any on the connector pins. Let's see if these make it more than a year...

Hey Greybeard,
How'd you color your bowtie, and is it holding up well? I like that.

"Paint", huh? I could find some of that, I think.

Choosing the color is always the hardest part.

UPDATE TO FAULT/TROUBLE CODES ADVENTURE!

I ''Eyeballed'' [Counted Threads on both sides of the lock and adjusting nuts using an inspection mirror and light tool] the measurement from various photos here and on the internet in general and removed the Forge replacement for the stock GM BPV with the very same GM Part reinstalled and all is fine I'm happy to report, no fault/trouble codes, passed Texas State Emission Inspection and the car runs great ''So Far''...

Great for seeing around many visual obstructions and illuminating them as well if needed.

Wheatgerm.
I think you may be confusing some terms there. The stock BPV (pic below) ,doesn't have any adjustments. I guess you mean you adjusted the wastegate rod.
Here's my old BPV. It has been replaced by the Forge unit. 3 bolts and a vacuum line is all it has.
