Washed it and watched the sun set on the side. I have to say that I am pleased with the performance of my Griot's Garage finishes. Made it through the winter with very minor scratching.

I would say changing the air filter is harder than changing the oil on the 2.2 and 2.4 motors
I went to my friend's house last night so he could help me change the oil, which I'd never done myself on any vehicle before. The hardest part was the quest for the socket; I didn't get to read your reply until I got home after it was all over. We went through the local Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, and NAPA with no luck.

We just put the new oil in, checked the level, and I headed out. I stopped by another Advance on the way home, and they had it. Naturally, I didn't own a 3/8" ratchet, either, so it was $33 worth of tools on top of the Mobil 1 full synthetic and the filter.

So now I know how to do this, I have all the critical tools, and I have good oil with a known start date. Footnote: We were amused that the GM owner's manual pointed to the wrong "Reset" button in both parts of the procedure to reset the oil life counter. The Haynes manual I'd gotten from Amazon earlier in the day had it right.
