I got back from the York TCA show last night. Had a good trip found a couple of prewar items. The HHR did great I averaged 33.8 on the trip up and a little less,29.8, on the way back. It would have been better except for the weather. I hit rain so bad that traffic on I-81 slowed to about 25 mph. It was a speed up slow down whiteknuckle at time trip. But it peformed flawlessly. Man these are great on trips.

I just got back from a test drive after fixing the Aux In jack on the factory stereo. One of the solder joints on the board inside the faceplate was (probably) bad when I bought it, and the left channel kept cutting in and out. The soldering was the easiest part. Working like a champ now.

I found it interesting that the radio isn't the only thing that's on that 15A fuse. The keyless entry didn't work while that fuse was out, and I think something related to the tire pressure monitor is on it too.

Placed a call into the insurance company. Damn state ripped up a portion of the highway last night and forgot to do a little 'clean up' of the dust and rocks. A nice sized rock found the front of my windshield causing a nice long crack. Further inspection I found numerous new paint chips...
Too say I am ticked off is an understatement...

Sorry to hear you took some rock damage slinger, when you get the windshield done, give some serious thought to getting one with a tinted band across the top.

Safelite has them, and once you make the change you'll wonder why Chevy didn't do the tint band from the factory.

Thanks for the suggestions guys...
Thankfully my insurance will cover the replacement. This maybe a silly question, but the extra tint, does it affect visibility? I already have a hard time seeing because I'm so tall.. Again, probably a silly question but I thought I'd ask while I have the oportunity.
thanks
