Looks like a V8 emblem in the grill.
It's a Tesla Model S electric car, they are really sweet, and boy can they scoot!

If they didn't cost six figures and could make the DC to Charlotte run on one charge, I'd happily give one a home.

A buddy up here had a drive in one a few weeks ago on some back roads where they could use the power - he came away TOTALLY impressed. He called it the car of the future - and the future is here. He loved the control panel and the power - the POWER was awesome whether from a standing start, or at a 30MPH roll-on.

The neat thing about electric motors is that they develop their full horsepower and torque from 0 rpm, and those Tesla's will slam you back in the seat.

They are such a hoot to drive, maybe their next model called the "Model X" will have a less shocking sticker price.(pun kind of intended)

I had to turn her down on the test drive......She must have got it before they added the rear heated seats and jacked the rest of the options. Said it was under six figures, and after Obama Care the payment was easy. So I didn't drive it because she wouldn't take a sweet pair of HHR's for trade.

Not that you all would miss me if I went to the Tesla forum right ??

Ps. It absolutely is the future, our buddy "Moon" watched the prototype roadster kick the posterior of every car at the Pleasanton Good Guy's auto cross, including the entire pro class. They should make a dragster and let Danica drive it.....

At the the dealer right now for an oil change and tire rotation. Maybe I'll trade her in on a Camaro ZL1 in the showroom.

New struts. Got around to replacing the lock plunger that the air bags broke, what a PITA, why don't they sell just the chrome part? After the fact, I found that it does screw off.

I ended up having to take the whole lock assembly out and figuring out where the little spring that fell out belonged. Maybe I should tell the insurance adjuster to give me 2 hours instead of the .7 hour labor.
