Well today warmed up a little above the freezing mark so, I replaced the alternator on the Sunfire GT, much better when the temp is above freezing, I washed and cleaned the Sunfire and now the weather for tomorrow is supposed to be snow and freezing rain. So the HHR will have to wait for a clean up.

My wife had a 96 Sunfire GT, that was a fun ride. Hers was blask. She traded it in on her 09 Victory Red HHR. And her's is the reason I bought mine.

The temps are going to be near 60 today & the coal mine has been cleaning the gravel off my road. That means my SS is getting a good hand wash! And I'm going to do a few other things as well. Replace my amber turn signal bulbs to my blue ones (they light up amber. Too bad sylvania had to discontinue them. Yay amazon & eBay!). Also going to fix my Chevy script that fell off the dash. Lol

Bath time for the '06, salt brine on black paint just isn't visually appealing, and to save my back Autobell once agan got the honer of "de-gacking" the daily driver.

With rain forecast for Monday-Wednesday, the clean won't last, but no snow at least.

Unhappy

Today, just a hair under 2 weeks of owning my HHR I got sideswiped This stupid, senile older lady was high on her meds. Barely backed up, too close, and then instead of just driving out the regular way... tried to fit between my parked car and another car. Guess what? It didn't fit. Knocked all kinds of things around. I was walking outside the grocery store and saw this happening. My hubby and his friend were in the car watching it happen. She almost drove off while I called the cops and my insurance. Hubby is digging into the moonshine from stress, poor thing. We haven't even made a payment on it yet

I washed her today in hopes of making it rain like it usually does when I wash her, butt NO, rain is not in the forecast. We need rain in socal, soon we will be forced to conserve (I already do) but they want to make it a mandatory 20% usage reduction *yikes*. My wife has the idea to build a pipeline from the east where it rains and floods and bring all that water here.........
