What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Beautiful mountains up there. I especially like the view from top of Fancy Gap. You can see Mayberry (Mt Airy N.C.) and Mt Pilot (Pilot Mt)
Put some new shoes on the panel. I went with the same tire I put on the SS. Found this morning that Comsumer reports agree's with me.....number 1# rated all season tire.

Not really, this is actually the bumper from my other HHR. I needed room for the heat exchanger for the supercharger, so I removed the black plastic insert and trimmed the edge of the opening a bit. The grille was actually the first mod i did to an HHR over 5 years ago, check the first couple pics from my gallery. The visor is a regular aluminum clip on one, no bolts, but i did pop some 3" holes in it.
We had some bad wind storm in Socal this week for 3 days blew down my rain guter blocking my garage door so had to tie it up with a rope so I could get my HHR out, many tiles blew off, a lot of folks had major damage from very large trees, good thing I have insurance should grt a check next week. You have to pay to have the lovely sunshine we have all year.
After a several week search, I finally found a suitable commuter - a 2006 LT that I bought last week. So far, I have thoroughly detailed, checked all maintenance items and in the process of painting the front and rear Bowties black.
I'm still on the first tank of fuel - the DIC indicates I am on track for a range of 487 miles. Pretty happy about that!
Today, I took my Basset Hound puppy for a drive through the river-bottoms near my house and then a walk in the foothills. The door-sills are a bit higher than my Avalanche and Equinox, but she really seemed to enjoy hanging her hea
d out of the window despite having to stretch her neck upward to do so. I think the HHR is now my Hound Hauling Rig.
