Installed FE5 springs and new KYB struts on the front, what a difference over the worn FE1 setup. Now debating on changing to HHR FE5 rear springs or stick with the cobalt ss/tc springs.

Why did you sign for it? Very difficult to believe. But that is the interlock, not the ignition. I sense more missing bits of a story.

I'm really looking forward to seeing UP 4014 in steam, a running Big Boy, never thought we'd see the day.

I saw the news on Bill Smith this morning Oldblue, very sad indeed, but he'll live on in all the great memories he helped create.
Hey Mike, Is the 4014 Big Boy being restored in N.C.?...john

Jay, take a look at this Official US Government document. Please read the "remedy" section carefully.

Don.....

Thanks for that posting from NHTSA. I made a copy and inserted it in my HHR car folder (where ALL info related to my car is kept). I suggest others make a copy as well, for reference if and when they have a problem. It may help when taking both to the dealer.

Question ESP electric motors what do the Chevy dealer do with the failed motors, I would guess they are rebuilt and installed on the next HHR or the other ones that use that motor, when I had my generator replaced it was a rebuilt by the Japanese Mfg. that makes both of them. Man do I hate GM.

I did not find the remedy section? So you get it replaced by the dealer for a lifetime replacement, and they keep replaceing with rebuilt motors. YIPPEE

Jay....

can't understand why you didn't find the REMEDY paragraph. I even printed and have the entire Campaign Bulletin handy while typing this. It's the third item. AND THE LAST SENTENCE of the Remedy paragraph pertains to you....it begins with "Note:".

And I think you are confused on the intent of the Remedy. The ending of your stated sentence is incorrect.

Oh, and if it's rebuilt so what.......by one of your posts, you stated in your experience the rebuilts are better than the original. Must be that syndrome again
