My money is on carbon blocking the tube.

Took my 2009 HHR for the recall on the ignition, the replacement part locked up and I had to leave Stella at the dealership! I have a loaner, might have to wait another 2 weeks.

You're exactly right Don, carboned up to beat the band. Of course it's from the era when Toyota got into trouble with engines choking themselves to death with carbon.

Now if a bolt hadn't snapped off when removing the EGR valve, I'd be happier. But I'll whip off the intake and do-coke it, then I'll drill out the broken bolt, it gives me something to look forward too on Saturday.

First day back at work, vacation both too short and too long if that makes any sense. But the 'Ol 2006 seemed to enjoy the drive on its new Continental tires, with a fresh crankcase of Mobil 1, it's a happy HHR.

I bought 'Sheila' on June 6. Since then I've discovered this site, clay-bar'd her, changed the cabin air filter, and added smoked window visors. Next up - black grill, wood-grain dash kit, and possibly running boards

Got a new windshield installed on the yeSyeS today. Whoever did it last time did a Horrible job! Hard to believe the windshield didn't fly out at freeway speeds, and they didn't prime the areas that they scratched when they cut the original out. If that had been done back east it would probably have rusted out. Looking forward to being able to wash it without leaks!

The HHR doesn't seem as hotrod-able as, say, a Mustang, so I'm channeling all those energies into other accessories.
