I put yet another #2 oxygen sensor into the new cat, so far no codes. This time I went "universal" tried to solder the wires, but found out they are stainless.

Strange thing is when I removed the cheap SGI one it was tough to get out, the tip threads were stripped. It went in by hand then wrench for the final 2 turns. Maybe that's why the stuck low code.

My fingers are still crossed. 7 starts so far, but only the heater test has run.

Its been a Expensive week while I was having my steering recall done I had a new set of 225/45/18s installed,

I treated my self to some nice smelling Air freshener, and installed it, and im suspecting my 10 year old nephew messed with it, anyhow the next day I get in my car, and the air freshener is upside down, it leaked its contents down the waterfall, and it melted its way to the bezel of the new touch screen GPS ruining the screen that is now only responsive on one side.

So I spent the day installing and setting up a new stereo called a Parrot ASTEROID Smart, a android based system, so far its great.

I had my flex pipe repaired yesterday. Went through my Dad's muffler guy and I'm surprised at how quiet it is now. 8-) I am definitely not car tech savvy, so just trying to read up on issues here in the forum. Oooooooooh, I also received my three months free of XM radio! Oh my gosh, I love it! Love, love, love it! I really love my HHR.

It is amazing. I had a leaky flex pipe a while back. Got it replaced under warranty (thank God.) and while it was noisy before, quieted right down. Good to know!

Have you posted in the 'Show us what you look like thread' ?
