Garage dried out, water back on, lower back hurting from spending the night on an air mattress in my office, and both HHR's down off the jack stands and ready to go.

Nice to hear all is back to normal. Have brew or two find your recliner and let that overworked back have a rest.

Both HHR's stayed parked while the SS went on the prowl, top down and 427 rattling windows as we cruised to Punchy's Diner. Cleared the car nuts out of the diner, probably to the annoyance of spouses and girlfriends, and got some invites to assorted car shows. Then turned down an offer to trade for a 2010 Corvette Z06 at the gas station, all in all, a day so much better than yesterday.

Just had to edit my post, too tall to fit in a 'Vette, to senile to spell it too. Coevette, what the heck were my fingers thinking.

i've been working on a custom bumper, going for an Audi inspired front end. i'm only about 90% done with the plug, then will be making a final mold, so i can reproduce a fiberglass or carbon fiber bumper.

You plan on filling the opening with a giant grille? Please keep us posted. Looks like it could be really cool!

For my own HHR today...finally got to wash it. Still doesn't look great, but it's a start. Hard to believe that it's only been about a week and a half since I washed it last and it was COATED. Stupid winter...is it June yet?
