Take a look at the thread below bobojay, and check out the linked thread in Post #2.

Us long term owners/Old Codgers use sleeper's method of filling the bottle about 1" above the fill line, and it pays to mark the fill line with a paint pen, permanent marker, or tape because it's a bugger to see.

Painted my calipers and brackets yellow. Doesn't look half bad on a black car. Used Dupli-Color Yellow engine paint and then Dupli-Color Clear engine paint on top. Calipers are a little darker than what the photo's show but not by much. Had painted over the OEM silver coating. Would have been darker if I had used a black primer first.

I filled about half way, maybe just slightly more. Been fine for 3, 90+ degree days now

Went to the dealership to get my driver's door looked at, they repaired the corrosion back in 2011 at 138,000 klms, the shop manager agreed to fix it N/C !

Replaced tie rod ends. Also fixed some fitment issues with the rear bumper cover. Quick tip, if you rear bumper cover is loose try replacing the tabs that hold the l shaped bracket to the body. The holes in the body were warped from where I got rear ended. After a touch of hammer and dolly, they squared up. Now the gap is gone and good as new.

Went Overboard

Disassembled the alternator, a/c compressor, and starter. Blasted and painted. Cleaned it up real nice, because I couldn't bolt it on to my new engine looking like 139k miles!

The alternator had about 16 connections that are soldered and not meant to be taken apart. (I tend to go Overboard..lol)

I'm happy with my results, that is as long as I can;
start the car
make cold air
and charge the battery (fingers crossed!)

Haven't seen too many 2 tone alternators
