I got new tires back in October, but my dad and I are pretty confident that they are not the issue.

Tires been rotated every 5k or so? That'll do the same noise if not...

Changing the oil again after 1200 miles to Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Third change since we bought it on June 20 and 2k+ miles. Now I know it's clean inside....will leave this in till winter or 6k miles.

Autozone has a special on currently with Mobil 1 and a filter for $33-$36.00 depending on oil type and filter up to $12.99.
Also get a free Mobil 1 ball cap if you want to apply for it.....oil & cap offer till July 27th

Yes. I just had my tires rotated a few weeks ago.

If you had not rotated them in a long enough time frame, I could see that being it as well, causing the noise/vibration.

I rotate tires every 6k or so because that's what discount told me to do. But you're absolutely right. It could be because I rotated them too early. I have a set of sport tires from last summer. I may put those back on and then test drive to see if there is still humming. If there is humming, then it is most likely not my tires.

Thanks for all of your input. I appreciate it!

Replaced a broken clockspring today! Since the install of the new engine I had almost every service code imaginable on my DIC. When I noticed the horn and steering wheel controls didn't work. All signs led to the clockspring. I'll post up a how to, took lots of pics. Picked one up from the local boneyard for 25 bucks out of an 06 .

Launch Control works! Haven't got to test it yet. I seriously need the solid motor mount. I still have two remaining codes. POWER STEERING and SERVICE ESC. I've checked all my connections and from what I've gathered here I think I need a tech2 to recalibrate the power steering.

Good news is, the car will be going to the dyno and not the dealer! Hopefully I'll get in next week.
