This should compress the rivet nut more and tighten it to the roof skin.

Bad part of the spun rivet nut is the bolt is in it.
Prolly gonna end up getting some one talented with
a spot welder or some thing to hold the rivet nut in place.
just wish it hadnt of done this.
Atleast its not leaking ~ took it to do it for me carwash ~

If the bolt is stuck in the rivet nut then remove the garnish mouldings on that side so you can pull down the head liner enough to get a pair of vice grips up in there and hold the spinning nut and have someone on the out side gently unscrew the bolt or tighten it back up and leave the rail in place

Congrats on your mileage milestone Oldblue!

As for the "what" I did with mine, got the black '06 Daily Driver even dirtier, flippin' rain is supposed to last all week, but the Weather-Persons on WBTV & WSOC aren't using the word "drought" ten times in every sentence anymore.

And I bought/downloaded Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" for the i-Phone so I can blast it on the stereo heading up I-85 for Helen and everyone out there fighting cancer.

As for your Sweetie Oldblue, keep telling her to kick butt and take names, she'll beat this and we'll have a heck of a party/get together.

I cranked it Oldblue!!!

But could you type a little louder for the rest of the night, never had the volume up all the way on the optional Pioneer Premium Audio System, so I'm a bit deaf at the moment.

Will repeat every day at 6pm, or until my reply to everything is What??

Keep kickin' its butt Helen, you've got us all pullin' and prayin' for ya.

Haven't posted in a while, kind of got aggravated with my suspension build Well, i finally got some motivation to get back at it. I scrapped my straight axle idea and decided on independent rear suspension with upper and lower control arms, and i also built a rear sub-frame for the back half.

Here i got the panel layed out on the body, unfortunately the front won't sit this low until I raise the strut towers and drive-train. Anyways, it's getting there

And just for fun, I was seeing if I could fit some 26"x12" wheels in there...

Looking promising. Always pushing the far side of radical. Cool.
