It's good to have a truck on hand! SS clone? Is that more cosmetic? I intend on installing an SS motor in my LT. Not necessarily a clone but an SS drivetrain nonetheless.

Put the float charger on the battery tonight. Too much salt on the roads due to recent snowfalls. Gonna let the Panel sleep in the garage for a while. The salt really chews up mag rims and rots out the undercarriage. Temps are around 0 degrees lately, not much enthusiasm to go for a drive...

My wood dash kit came today...I ordered Dark Mahogany...Maybe should have ordered something not quite as dark...I guess in a few months it will be warm enough to put it in and we'll see....
Hopefully this week I'll have my seats back from the upholstery shop too....

Took the Panel for a highway drive.
Almost 200 miles round trip just for the heck
of it.

Found some gas that was 1.48 a gallon at truck stop
on I-70 in Missouri.. . . . . . . 5.3 gallons was just a tick over $8.00.!

Didnt want to pay 300 bucks or more for a intake, so I made my own for about 100 bucks. Of course no power gains, but I didnt like the bulky stock air box. Quick tip, if you use your maf tube from stock airbox, make sure it is not installed backwards. Car runs horrible with that mistake. Lesson learned. I will post pics when I get home from work, because I know, No pic did not happen. Lol

This week has been busy with trips back and forth to the hospital. Monday my 94 year old mother had a stroke that lucky turned out to be minor. It has effected her left arm and leg. She is improving and is supposed to be moved to rehab today. They expect her to be able to go home in two to three weeks. This has been one wild week.
