Well, our panel became a work truck the last week.
It had to take me to work on Monday, then sit in a dusty/muddy (depending on the daily weather) parking lot till late Thursday night and bring me home...not to mention all the round town trips the weekend before and after....
Why you might ask...??? The PT Cruiser was in the shop getting $2,800.00 worth of repairs...seems the head gasket started leaking...and then....

DW, pop the rubber plug out of the bottom of the door , I used a extension magnet and fished mine out! Now I'm just a loose but behind the wheel ! And have a screw loose!!
Today we rode to Sweetie 's Internal medical Dr. for a check up on her DVT, took a drive through the country and Cranked it up!! A little early but hey!! We cranked it!!

Gave my HHR a long-overdue cleaning today. It was kind of dirty when I got it from my dad a few days ago and I never really did anything other than vacuum it. It's outside all the time so I never wash it either.
Dad used it for hauling stuff which left the suspension in not-so-great condition (he exceeded the weight limit by a lot) and plenty of stains in the back seat. I didn't think to take "before" pictures for comparison, but here's what it looks like now (dark spots b/c it's still a bit damp in these pictures):
You'll have to take my word for it being pretty dirty before, especially on the left side. I used a mixture of warm water, baking soda, and dish detergent on the mat and that got most of the crud out. After that, I went over it with a bissel little green shampoo vacuum thing. This is what the waste liquid looked like after cleaning if that gives you any idea how bad it was:
Washed the exterior, vacuumed everything, went over all windows inside/outside with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, cleaned all the dust and dirt out of the areas inside the doors where the hinges and stuff are. It was brown in there and now you can actually see the blue! Car after cleaning:
Also took a couple pics to go in my signature. My HHR isn't the most exciting so I just did close-ups on the front:
I'm going to try and take better care of this thing in the future. Seeing the cool stuff people do with their HHRs on here has sort of given me a new fondness for the vehicle.
Long live the four-banger!
