Almost washed the HHR - but it began to rain. So checked into the noisy drivers door limiter strut (the thingie that restricts how wide the door opens) -it was making a CLANKING sound as the rod slid back and forth over it's indents.

I found the bottom nut on it's mounting stud on the door side, way loose. 10mm wrench used to tighten it up - presto - door now closes quietly. I checked the other doors, and found they all could use a little tightening.

Car still dirty, but door closes nicely now. Time for a nap.

If you mean We are the Champions, by Queen, then Yup!! let's crank it up every Friday at 6 PM.
Today is Monday so lets Crank up We're not Gonna Take It , by Twisted Sister, for anyone else battling any type of cancer or illness!!

She must be feeling better, she went out today solo to her friends house for coffee and a gabfest ! with the girls! I noticed she took the cool ride and not her own GT!

So, I home with her car, and that is my did with the HHR!!

I know I'm new on the forum and have caught the end of this story, but it sounds like things have worked out. Life is very short and most don't enjoy the little things that mean more then material items. Enjoy what you have, it might not be there tomorrow! All the best Oldblue

I know!!! Actually it's salt jammed into the rear beauty bar seam chipping the paint away!
I used a Marhyde product to convert the corrosion into primer, I've used it before and it worked nicely.

Moved the HHR.
A shed at a house across from me ignited. Fence, tree's and grass started to burn. Been dry here.
Fire looked at first it could get big but the FD showed up and took care of it.
