I opened up a set of Depo fog light housings today. They were just a hard a the OEM headlight housings. I'm installing some accent lighting to the fog housings. They should be installed this weekend while following the how to install factory fogs. Pictures coming.

Gonna give Oldblue a wash and detail, then tear into the front end and find the source of that shake! It's mostly from highway speeds when you lift the throttle, I can feel a shake at the bottom of the steering column. Hmmm, steering column lower bushing? Rack? Inner tie rods? Another intermediate shaft?

Keep us updated, Blue, I have a similar shake. Been there for nearly a year LOL. I think mine is tire related, though, as it seemed to develop after getting two tires replaced. Could be coincidence though!

lol. Pretty sure I got the idea from here. Wouldn't be at all surprised if yours was the one I saw. Then it was a matter of finding the supplier (houseofgrafx).

Anyway, (finally!) finished up my running boards. That is, adding the running board pads.

Now, it's off to the junkyard tomorrow to check out a recent salvage addition.

And then, try to figure out "where" to mount my CB. That, or use a shorty and pass the full size one off to my son. :-/

Swapped out my black mirrors/handles with chrome mirrors/handles. Haven't decided whether (or not) I like the new look. However, if I do decide I want to go back to black... for the handles, that is, I'll opt for factory handles as opposed to handle covers.

Replaced drum shoes and most of the hardware inside the drum. Like most jobs it seems, the first one takes forever, and the second super fast, then back to the first one to fix something that I found out while doing the second one. I ran out of daylight to paint the drums today, but not super upset. It gives me another week to get vinyl stickers made. Drums will have "HHR" at the top and "Chevrolet" at the bottom and caliper will have "HHR" in black. I don't know how well they will show up in black, but I'm trying to stick to the black and red theme, although white letters do look nice as some have done on here.

Nice Looking Panel...I always liked them in white.

I just swapped out my chrome handles for paint to match ones and been wanting to get rid of my chrome mirrors and paint them to match. If you decide to sell your painted ones, let me know.
