Yesterday I got it out of storage, washed and detailed it and drove it around a bit.

Today is a Car show at the Landing Strip and I'm pre-regestered. What could possibly be better...a car show at a Strip Club.

This past week, I replaced all 4 door speakers, carbon fiber wrapped front & back bowties and nearly threw away that cheesy 'dealership issue' chrome license plate frame until I had the idea of wrapping over the advertisement! Oh, and painted my exhaust.

Nice!

Today we drove up to Hamilton for Sweetie 's checkup, the oncologist said he doesn't need to see her now for 4 months!!
The ride in Oldblue was smooth and precise with the new steering rack and ball joints!

I took my 93 year old ma for a ride out into the country today. She really liked the ride in Jorge Ramirez, (Hor Hay Ramirez) and kept remarking how easy it was to get into.
We saw horses and went over a covered bridge. She used to drive far and wide to photograph covered bridges.
Nice ride!

I too took my 90 year young mother out today in the HHR, and yes...she did say how nice and easy it is to "get into"!

It's the seat height I guess. She had no trouble to speak of. It was a nice day for a ride here, too.

OK, technically not today - Sunday.
I finally had a pretty day outside to put on the new seat covers from CoverKing and I have to say, I am super impressed.
These things fit like a glove and look totally custom. The NeoSupreme material is amazing, feels a lot like neoprene - very substantial. And the fit ... well, you can see that.

Got mine on Amazon, but Coverking sells them direct too I think.

I also got a set of these. Please ignore the dirty wheel covers!

I just resurrected a 15' flat bottom boat for the spring Walleye run on the largest tributary to all the great lakes. So with the new hitch installed this was it's first real test. It was flawless, other than dropping to just over 24 mpg,, you really don't even know it behind you.

The 2LT with that 3:91 final drive, even passes with authority, only downshifting when I floored it to test it's passing ability at 55 mph up to 67 mph. I think they look great together too! I pulled it home with the Suburban, I really didn't know how well this HHR would pull something this large,, ha ha ha,,, not even a contest, like I said absolutely didn't know it was back their,, not just taking off, but shopping and handling!

this was the boat I started with 2 weeks ago,,,
